PQS means: Pain-Qualified Segment
Evidence posture: Segment/account hypotheses only. No accepted proof points.
PQS Classification Rules
| Label | Use in this packet | Axonix rule |
|---|---|---|
pqs_hook | Segment-level pain and public-fit hook. | Use when the output helps Axonix feel relevant but does not deliver named-account standalone value. |
proto_pvp | Named-account, public-source-backed insight candidate. | Use when a named account has public proof of facility type, expansion, location complexity, or operational fit, but the insight is not yet a full PVP. |
true_pvp | Full Permissionless Value Prop. | Use only when named-account public/approved data produces specific, non-obvious, actionable value that passes the PVP spec. No true PVP is accepted in this packet. |
Pain-Qualified Segments
| PQS ID | Pain-Qualified Segment | Facility/account signals | Primary public data sources | Likely buyer/persona | Axonix relevance | Current classification | Caveat |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
PQS-CW-01 | Car wash operators with tunnel, vacuum, kiosk, RFID/app lane, or exterior-equipment visibility needs. | Multiple sites, express tunnel, free vacuums, app/member lane, new openings. | Official car wash location pages, expansion press, planning/permit records. | Owner/operator, operations manager, facilities lead. | Weather-aware cameras, network, PoE, lighting, tunnel/lot coverage, support handoff. | pqs_hook; named operators can become proto_pvp. | Do not imply downtime, theft, or incidents without evidence. |
PQS-WH-01 | Warehouses/logistics sites with dock, yard, WMS, surveillance, and large-capacity operations. | Square footage, cross-docking, WMS, surveillance, dock doors, expansion. | Official warehouse pages, FMCSA, property records, industrial listings, permits. | Operations manager, owner, facilities manager. | Cameras, rack/PoE design, access, cabling, remote viewing, documentation. | pqs_hook; named facilities can become proto_pvp. | Public pages prove fit, not need. |
PQS-CH-01 | Multi-campus churches with volunteer access, kids/student areas, worship AV, livestream, and public service flow. | Multiple campuses, multiple service times, livestream, school auditorium use, events. | Church campus pages, event calendars, service-time pages. | Executive pastor, administrator, operations/facilities director. | Access, cameras, AV, cabling, Wi-Fi, volunteer-friendly handoff. | pqs_hook; named campuses can become proto_pvp. | Avoid fear-based security copy. |
PQS-OFF-01 | Office/property managers with mixed-use tenant access, visitor, camera, conference AV, and building-network needs. | Large building, office/retail/events/data center mix, tenant resources, active leasing. | Property pages, tenant resources, property manager portfolios, building datasets, permits. | Property manager, building engineer, office/facilities director. | Access control, cameras, conference AV, network/cabling, support. | pqs_hook; named buildings can become proto_pvp. | Public property facts do not prove budget or project timing. |
PQS-RET-01 | Multi-site retail/service operators with repeatable camera/access/POS-area/network standards. | Store locator, new store, multiple branches, POS/entrance/storage areas. | Store locators, expansion news, permits, business pages. | Owner/operator, facilities, IT, operations. | Standardized cameras, POS-area cabling, access workflows, remote support. | pqs_hook; named operators can become proto_pvp. | Need a trigger to become more than a hook. |
PQS-REF-01 | GCs, electrical contractors, MSPs, AV firms, and property managers who need reliable low-voltage scope partners. | Construction services, project portfolios, facility management, tenant fit-outs, project management. | GC portfolios, property manager service pages, public project pages. | Project manager, owner rep, construction manager, property manager. | Axonix can absorb commercial low-voltage scope and reduce punch-list/service handoff risk. | pqs_hook; active project rows can become proto_pvp. | Channel fit is not proof of referral willingness. |
Account-Level Examples
| Example account | PQS ID | Public signal | Current classification | Why not true PVP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quick Pass Car Wash | PQS-CW-01 | Official page lists four Metro Detroit locations, express tunnels, vacuums, RFID member lanes, and more locations on the horizon. | proto_pvp | Public fit is strong, but there is no specific account-level problem, quantified opportunity, or deadline. |
| Logos Logistics | PQS-WH-01 | Public page lists Romulus/Warren facilities, square footage, 24/7 surveillance, cross-docking, and WMS/warehouse features. | proto_pvp | Public features support fit, but no public gap or immediate action is proven. |
| Woodside Bible Church | PQS-CH-01 | Official locations page lists many Southeast Michigan campuses, service times, livestream links, and campus addresses. | proto_pvp | Multi-campus operations are visible, but no low-voltage pain is proven. |
| One Campus Martius | PQS-OFF-01 | Public property page lists office, retail, events, and data-center uses in a 1,331,000 RSF building. | proto_pvp | Facility complexity is visible, but no specific project or gap is proven. |
| Gardner White | PQS-RET-01 | Official store locator lists Southeast Michigan stores and a Detroit GW Home location. | proto_pvp | Multi-site fit is visible, but no standardization problem is proven. |
| Walbridge | PQS-REF-01 | Public project page shows major commercial construction experience at One Campus Martius. | pqs_hook | Referral-partner fit is plausible, but no current project or low-voltage partner gap is proven. |
Safe Hook Bank
These are internal draft hooks, not approved market copy.
| PQS ID | Hook type | Draft hook | Safety note |
|---|---|---|---|
PQS-CW-01 | pqs_hook | "Your wash model puts cameras, kiosks, vacuums, app lanes, lighting, and wet/exterior cabling in one operating system." | Use only when source shows car wash site/operator fit. |
PQS-WH-01 | pqs_hook | "Your dock and warehouse visibility depends on the rack, PoE plan, labels, and remote access as much as the cameras." | Avoid implying incidents. |
PQS-CH-01 | pqs_hook | "Multi-campus church operations ask non-technical teams to manage access, AV, cameras, and livestream reliability every week." | Respectful, operational framing only. |
PQS-OFF-01 | pqs_hook | "Mixed-use office buildings turn low-voltage into tenant experience: doors, visitor flow, conference AV, cameras, and support handoff." | Use public property facts only. |
PQS-RET-01 | pqs_hook | "Multi-site retail low-voltage usually breaks when every location has a different camera, cabling, Wi-Fi, and support standard." | Needs source-backed multi-site proof. |
PQS-REF-01 | pqs_hook | "Commercial low-voltage is the scope that often shows up late in tenant fit-outs unless a partner owns design, labels, testing, and handoff." | Channel hypothesis only. |
Required Next Evidence
To promote any PQS into a stronger PVP lane, Axonix needs at least one of:
- Named account with public current project, permit, opening, expansion, or facility change.
- Named account with public facility complexity and a specific low-voltage opportunity that can be verified.
- Direct Axonix owner confirmation that a similar facility pain has appeared in past work.
- Market response from a controlled campaign or interview.
Until then, these remain pqs_hook or proto_pvp only.
